Art Whirled

This application is an attempt to port the experience of using a color spinner toy to the iPhone. We made a photorealistic, 3D interface with life-like buttons and knobs. A gallery view presents a painting hanging on the wall. The whole design is very colorful, cheerful and easy on the eyes. And there's more: when you drop some paint and turn the spinner on, the paint will splatter all over the UI elements, just like in the real world. It was great fun to work on this project, and we gained tons of fresh knowledge in both visual design and interaction design.
