Mobility
FOR ENTERPRISE
Sourcebits has the expertise to guide your enterprise mobile strategy and deliver secure, stable, scalable applications for your employees and customers.
Delivering a "mint.com" Experience for Enterprise Finance
Line managers in large companies can benefit greatly from mobile solutions, but delivering complex enterprise-level financial information in an engaging and usable format is a major challenge. A large ERP company approached Sourcebits to build a mobile solution with the power of an enterprise-grade financial application and the user experience of a high-end consumer finance application like mint.com.
The result is a highly polished, efficient and responsive solution that works seamlessly with huge data sets and presents complex information powerfully. The client was able to deliver reports more quickly, slash training time, help users better understand data, and provide faster and better decision opportunities to upper management.

Disrupting The Campus Recruiting Battle for Top Technical Talent
With campus hiring heating up again, the largest hardware and innovation company in the world needed a way to for their campus recruiters to engage and follow up with prospective hires more quickly and efficiently than the competition. They came to Sourcebits to build a solution with a personalized user experience unlike any other recruiting method used today.
Recruiters needed the ability to collect and review candidate contact information, degree, major, and course emphasis quickly and easily, mark up that information for further grading and filtering, and immediately submit everything to a central database — all while still on campus.
Sourcebits created an iPad app that seamlessly handled input from recruiters across multiple campuses. The app delivers real-time feedback on an individual’s potential match with the enterprise, instantly connects hiring managers with suitable interview candidates, and automatically updates the user’s profile in the enterprise’s applicant tracking system.
The result is a disruptive solution in the ongoing battle for top technical talent. The app reduces average candidate response time by 25x, eliminates over 500 hours per year in annual processing, and enables HR staff to focus on what’s most important: the candidate.
Real-Time Enterprise Ad Mobile Management
Online advertisers need the right facts at the right time to drive informed revenue decisions. With the proliferation of tablets and smartphones, a large publishing network had a pressing need to offer their clients actionable information when not in front of a computer.
Their primary business goal was to engage revenue managers such as Marketing
VPs by showing them how they could find new customers, identify new audiences on their site, and cut better deals with advertisers — utilizing the real-time business intelligence the app would provide.
Sourcebits was asked to develop an app that allowed users to access information via an iPhone, iTouch, or Android with an “industry-leading” UI that ‘begged to be used’. The challenge was to increase the customer’s ability to make smart, agile decisions — and to perform key actions on the phone which leveraged the form function of the device. The app had to deliver actionable information such as revenue, eCPM,and impressions, and provide the ability to receive push notifications on pre-set parameters like revenue targets and spend limits.
To achieve the client’s goals, Sourcebits built a “publish once, display across many screens” process that gave the client the ability to publish content to PC, Smartphone, and tablet platforms through a unified framework. The process minimized app development by using web views and used device detection to automatically deliver the correct UI to the user.
The end results was a powerful, scalable, cost-effective app that is forward compatible with all smartphones, tablets and PC-based systems.
